FiltreOne — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the FiltreOne Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

FiltreOne is a Chrome browser extension that applies real-time visual distortion filters to your camera stream on supported video chat platforms. All video processing is performed locally in your browser. No video data is transmitted to our servers.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use FiltreOne. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. User responsibility

You are solely and entirely responsible for your use of FiltreOne. This includes but is not limited to:

• Any content you create, share, or display while using the extension.
• Your conduct on any third-party platform where you use FiltreOne.
• Compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Compliance with the terms of service of any third-party platform you use in conjunction with FiltreOne.

FiltreOne is a neutral privacy tool. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party platform, its content, or its users. The developers of FiltreOne bear no liability for any consequences arising from your use of the extension.

5. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use FiltreOne to:

• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Facilitate fraud, deception, or impersonation.
• Distribute illegal or harmful content.

6. Payments and credits

• FiltreOne offers a one-time 5-minute free trial.
• Additional usage requires purchasing credit packs or a weekly unlimited pass.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• Credits are consumed only while the filter is actively enabled.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

7. Account and data

• You sign in using your Google account. We store only your email, display name, and usage data.
• You may delete your account at any time from the extension. This permanently removes all your data.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

FiltreOne is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all platforms at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of FiltreOne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or reputation.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of FiltreOne after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
